About ultimate bboys
We started the crew in 1998-1999. We are eight members in our crew. All of us have been teachers in different dance schools around Gothenburg and Sweden. There are some of us still teaching and working with kids and youth.
This is what we have done as crew:
We have competing in many competitions like Scandinavian Battle of the year and Eastern Europe battle of the year. In Scandinavian/eastern Europe boty 2005 we came second place and won the best show. In 2007 the same competition we won. And we went trough to the International BOTY 2007 in Germany.
Ultimate B-Boys made history
When we won the Scandinavian/eastern Europe BOTY 2007 we were the first Swedish crew that had only B-Boys that was originally from Sweden. With that we mean that others Swedish crews that won Scandinavian Boty earlier had loan dancers around Scandinavian or Europe.
Swedish Championship
2005 was the year when we won and became the Swedish champions.
Gothenburg competitions from 1998 to 2010We have also competed in many competitions in Sweden and around Scandinavian. We have won the Gothenburg championship 4 times in a row in 4 years, in both category best crew and best solo dancer. We have also won 6 times a Gothenburg talent show, both in best show and best in battles. In 2002 we were in Swedish HipHop Awards and won against other dance crews in Sweden, one of them known as Bounce. In 2006 we won Red Bull Battle of Moves in Sweden. In 2001 a breakdance crew from South Africa known as Black Noise, came to Sweden and made a competition named Heal the Hood and we won the competiton. In Norway, Oslo 2009 we won the UNICEF competition. There’s a lot of competitions we have been in and won or placed us self in 2, 3 or 4th place. One of them is UK championship Qualifying.
Others
We have been in commercial like newspaper, TV, music videos, movies and radio all around Sweden and Scandinavian. We have performed a lot all around Sweden and sometimes in Scandinavian and Europe.
